GENERAL TERMS OF SALE
1 Scope
These terms and conditions apply to any online booking of a stay or course, collectively referred to as “services " throughout these Terms and Conditions and distinguished as necessary, made remotely by a natural person with legal capacity acting in a personal capacity as a consumer with Learn French with Pascal directly on the Learn French with Pascal website accessible at the following address: pascal-rabevolo.fr
2.2 Price of Services
The price of the services is the one provided when the quote is issued. The price indicated by the “express quote,” as it pertains to stays, accessible on the website, cannot be used as a reference price. Learn French with Pascal reserves the right to modify the price of its services at any time, in compliance with applicable law. The services you order will be billed to you based on the price in effect on the website at the time your order is confirmed.
2.3 Reservations
According to the Civil Code: Art. R211-9, Art. R211-10, Art. R211-11
When you send us a request for teacher-hosted immersion programs or online courses, we will confirm availability based on your preferences and create a program tailored to your needs.
2.4 Payment
For all reservations made more than 4 weeks before the start of the stay, full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking, and the balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the start of the program.
For reservations made less than 4 weeks before the start of the stay, full payment is required immediately.
Services can be reserved up to 1 week before they begin.
The reservation and issuance of the invoice will only be confirmed upon receipt of the total amount due.
Cancellations or postponements are only accepted in writing (letter, email, etc.), and the participant must ensure that we have received their correspondence.
ONLINE PAYMENT
Online transactions are processed on fully secure pages. Wise’s platform encrypts your credit card number and all information submitted during the transaction, ensuring that all transaction details are encrypted and secure. Learn French with Pascal has chosen Wise Support or bank transfer, secure payment systems to ensure that transactions are processed in the most secure environment possible. Your payment is processed directly on the Wise Support website using encryption (the SSL encryption process). At no time does Learn French with Pascal have access to your bank account details.

5 Start of the Service
The service will begin on the date and time agreed upon via email or on the service summary sheet.
For online classes, the student and teacher may also agree not to start classes immediately, but on an agreed-upon future date. If the student does not begin lessons on the agreed-upon date, they will forfeit the deposit and the time slot. Learn French with Pascal cannot guarantee any regular slot until a signed agreement has been received and the deposit has been paid.
6 Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has the right to withdraw and cancel and return the Order in whole or in part, without having to provide a reason or incur penalties, within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day following the delivery date of their Order.
However, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the Customer is informed that the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code cannot be exercised for the provision of accommodation services (other than residential accommodation), goods transport services, car rentals, catering, or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
7 Cancellation and Rescheduling
7.1 For homestay programs
All postponements and cancellations are subject to cancellation fees.
S.L.Immersion will charge you a 150-euro cancellation/postponement fee plus 10% of the total cost (full program) of the week(s) of classes you cancel or postpone, provided the cancellation or postponement notice is received at least 30 days prior to your arrival.
If the cancellation or rescheduling is requested less than 30 days before arrival, no refund is possible. Refunds for cancellation requests made between the 1st and the 15th of the month are processed on the last day of the month in which the request was made; refunds for cancellation requests made after the 15th are processed on the last day of the following month.
Once a program has begun, it is considered due, and no refund or credit may be granted for lessons, weeks, or courses for which you were absent, in whole or in part, and no refund of accommodation fees may be made in whole or in part.
Postponements are considered cancellations. That is, the fees are the same as those stipulated above, plus the cost of the stay.
If you need to cancel your stay during your stay due to an emergency, we will not be able to refund you. Please check the terms of your travel insurance in case of cancellation.
Despite all the care your teacher takes to ensure a perfect stay, if you are dissatisfied and decide to cancel during your stay, please contact the manager at the following address pascal.rabevolo@gmail.com and explain the reasons for your dissatisfaction (this must be supported by evidence: photos, etc.). Then, depending on your preferences and availability, we will offer you another stay or provide a refund.
If the teacher has an emergency and is unable to provide your stay, we will offer you another stay or refund the full payment minus the days used (if the stay has already begun).
7.2 For online classes
Course Schedule and Cancellations
Course Schedule: A detailed schedule for online courses must be established and approved by both the student and the teacher. This schedule may be modified as needed after mutual agreement.
Cancellations and force majeure: In the event of a class cancellation by the student, except in cases of force majeure (as defined in Article 5.2), Learn French with Pascal will not be required to refund the canceled classes.
Cancellation limits: Cancellations must remain exceptional. More than three consecutive cancellations without prior agreement with the teacher will result in termination of the contract and forfeiture of the deposit.
Notice of Termination or Reduction of Classes
Notice of termination: The student must inform the teacher of their intention to terminate the contract or reduce the number of weekly lessons at least two weeks in advance.
Consequences of insufficient notice: If notice is given less than two weeks in advance, or if the student does not attend all classes during this period, the deposit will be retained by Learn French with Pascal.
Adjustment of the deposit: In the event of a reduction in the number of classes, the amount of the deposit will be adjusted and used to pay for future classes.
Holidays and Course Interruptions
Notification of breaks: For any interruption of classes lasting more than three weeks, the student must notify the teacher at least two weeks in advance.
Resumption of classes: A date for resuming classes will be agreed upon between the student and the teacher. If the student does not resume classes on that date, the contract will be terminated and the deposit will be forfeited.
Payment for lessons
Learn French with Pascal does not offer individual lessons but rather a monthly package, the rates for which can be viewed online on the website. The monthly fee must be paid at the beginning of the month. If this is not the case, a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual adjustment invoice will be issued to allow for a single payment covering the relevant period.
General Provisions
Modification of the Terms and Conditions: Learn French with Pascal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Students will be notified of any changes via email or by any other appropriate means. The changes will take effect on the date indicated in the notification.
Definition of Force Majeure: The following are considered cases of force majeure: serious illnesses, accidents, hospitalizations, natural disasters, and any other event beyond the control of the parties that prevents the normal performance of contractual obligations.
Teacher’s Obligations
Availability and Quality of Courses: The instructor agrees to be available at the agreed-upon times and to provide high-quality instruction in accordance with current educational standards.
Communication: The teacher must inform the student of any changes or impediments regarding the lessons as soon as possible.
3. COMPLAINTS
The student must contact their host in the event of a problem to explain the reasons for the issue (This must be substantiated with evidence: photos, etc.). After the stay, no complaints will be considered UNLESS the complaint was explained during the stay.
DISPUTES:
In the event of a dispute between the service provider and the consumer, both parties shall endeavor to reach an amicable resolution.
If no amicable agreement is reached, the consumer may file a complaint free of charge with the consumer ombudsman responsible for the service provider within one year of the written complaint being sent to the service provider.
